E so The early morning light bouncing off the skyline buildings of Cronulla was this inspiration behind this piece.

I loved the deep shadows and the creamy soft colour of the sand. Loosely painted in an impressionistic style with textured palette knife techniques applied. You can see and enjoy the texture of each brushstroke.

I am passionate about the Australian landscape, especially this area of the Sutherland Shire. I have been a professional visual artist for over 30 years and I use the highest quality materials. I use Art Spectrum and Gamblin paints and mediums, and the work is done on a professionally built hand stretched canvas (using super strong polyester canvas).

Established Australian artist, Nicole Southworth, grew up in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney

By the age of 19, she was exhibiting her oil paintings in prominent galleries in Sydney. Nicole held her first solo exhibition at the age of 21 in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, and has had many sell-out solo exhibitions since.

Nicole has been a professional artist for more than thirty years having sold thousands of oil paintings to collectors around the world.

Nicole also teaches monthly adult painting workshops.
