Streaming Light at Audley

This piece was completed with only a palette knife and the paint is very textured. It was taken standing by the end of the Port Hacking River in the picnic grounds of Audley in the Royal National Park. The colours were extraordinary and the sun shining through the tree was magic. An expressionistic piece that you will love.

Established Australian artist, Nicole Southworth, grew up in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney

By the age of 19, she was exhibiting her oil paintings in prominent galleries in Sydney. Nicole held her first solo exhibition at the age of 21 in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, and has had many sell-out solo exhibitions since.

Nicole has been a professional artist for more than thirty years having sold thousands of oil paintings to collectors around the world.

Nicole also teaches monthly adult painting workshops.

My landscapes are influenced by many past and present Australian landscape artists, as well as the impressionist and post-impressionist movements..
