Sydney to Hobart - the start line! It’s oil on hand stretched polyester canvas.

A lot of fun was had trying to capture the action and movement on the harbour from this big Boxing Bay event in Sydney.

Established Australian artist, Nicole Southworth, grew up in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney

By the age of 19, she was exhibiting her oil paintings in prominent galleries in Sydney. Nicole held her first solo exhibition at the age of 21 in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, and has had many sell-out solo exhibitions since.

Nicole has been a professional artist for more than thirty years having sold thousands of oil paintings to collectors around the world.

Nicole also teaches monthly adult painting workshops.

“I am predominantly a landscape oil painter, enjoying bush and coastal scenes. My landscapes are influenced by many past and present Australian landscape artists, as well as the impressionist and post-impressionist movements..
