This is a street named Verona Grange in Sydney suburb of Como. The light was s beautiful on this sunny morning .
I love the simplicity of a simple urban scene and finding the extraordinary on the ordinary. This piece was so enjoyable to paint on beautiful smooth primed board. .

Established Australian artist, Nicole Southworth, grew up in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney

By the age of 19, she was exhibiting her oil paintings in prominent galleries in Sydney. Nicole held her first solo exhibition at the age of 21 in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, and has had many sell-out solo exhibitions since.

Nicole has been a professional artist for more than thirty years having sold thousands of oil paintings to collectors around the world.

Nicole also teaches monthly adult painting workshops.
