Moss Creek

This is one of my looser styled paintings I occasionally like to do . The inspiration was the beautiful gum trees that surround my home along with the many beautiful green hues we are seeing of late with all the rain we've had.
The painting has a very calming cool feeling and brings a serene energy to the space it's in.

Nicolee Payne is an Australian artist who lives in the Hawkesbury NSW.
She began her career drawing Licenced characters for a leading Toy manufacturer and designing and creating style guides for ABC Children's Television Department.
Her freelance work led her to private and commercial commissions mainly of a mythical nature.
With a bank of images she created her own set of Inspirationa lCards designed to assist others with their own creativity.
Nicolee also teaches children and adults drawing and painting from her home in Oakville and from the School of Arts in Penrith.
Her work took a new direction in 2014 when she entered the Archibald Portrait prize and was selected as a finalist with her portrait of Rugby League Legend Fui Fui Moi Moi however her passion lies with animal portraits and is available for commission work.
