This sea painting portrays a mini wave breaking on the beach. The subtle blue-green of shallow ocean water adds a calm, soothing element. In this painting I wanted show beautiful colors of the Gulf of Mexico as it is based on the photo I took in Florida.

I practice traditional technique of painting in thin layers, starting with a tonal under painting, taking my time with each piece, creating multiple layers and enjoying the creative process. My artwork has almost no texture.
