Artwork Description

Beaker Was a Noisy Cocky, is based on a cocky that we owned many years ago. His mate was Myrtle and they were like chalk and cheese. Myrtle was gentle and loved quiet attention whereas Beaker was a jealous boy who put on a display, much like that depicted in the painting, when Myrtle got attention. His vocabulary consisted of, "Don't do that!" Cockatoos are beautiful birds and full of personality!

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
Olga's work is held in private collections throughout Australia and in the USA.
