Coastal Plains

Two of my favourite things are the colour blue and painting with gestures, in Coastal Planes these come together. Painting during our current covid lockdown in Melbourne I think this painting is a reflection of the times. Grateful yet frustrated, feeling deja vu yet it is different, calm yet agitated.

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
