This piece is the third in a series of abstract pieces. The other two are Swarm and Gathering. Exodus is the last in the series that tells a story of ethereal elements coming together as if called by nature and ultimately leaving. This can relate to life and death or movement through migration. Everything is permanently in a state of flux and osmosis, everything effects everything else. I also wanted to use colour that I wouldn't normally use. I liked the paint colliding on the canvas to make nuances that were unique.
