In The Park

In The Park is the first in a series of three pieces that shows the transient nature of life. The figure itself, deep in thought and slightly hidden, is reminiscent of being involved in one's own thoughts. Surrounded by nature, under a tree, that itself is undergoing metamorphosis. The piece is painted loosely with Impressionism and expressionism as influences. The painting is framed in a thin black quality frame and it is ready to hang.

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
Olga's work is held in private collections throughout Australia and in the USA.
