Linen Hills revisits by recurring theme of our lives have many layers. The hills are a constant; my parents were born on volcanoes, my childhood was spent in the hilly environs of Greensborough, my best friend took me to holiday with her family on the Mornington Peninsula and there were hills again, we moved to Ferntree Gully and there they were! They are laconic, they sleep, they fold and mould, they are in my soul. Linen Hills exploits the beautiful linen surface with muted, soft colours. Pared back and showing restraint in colour use and economy of line to convey great emotion. It has been described as a dream landscape, relaxing and very beautiful!
