Ornamental Garden

I've been obsessing a little bit with a lozenge shape, they are rock like and smooth and very satisfying as a shape. This piece is from my imagined world. Staring into a rock pool or an ornamental garden and recording the reflected colours and shapes. The painting has been built up by using multiple layers with some of the underpainting allowed to show through. Textured surface has been created with crackle medium. Painted in a wraparound with edges painted to match making framing optional.

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
