The Wind Knows Your Name by Olga Megele is a response to the current strangeness of the world.  Everything is different, unsettled and requiring a new understanding of the once familiar. 

This piece uses a subdued and limited palette, relying on smooth tonal transitions to create a feeling of intertwining and movement. This is an ethereal piece that nods to the uncertainty of the almost dystopian landscape that we are all caught in.

Using a subdued and limited palette, there is a sense of nostalgia and moodiness. 

The sides are painted in a wrap around style which makes framing optional. Ready to hang.

Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
