Vegelicious Girl

This is a painting of the waitress at a restaurant in St Kilda, Melbourne called Vegilicious. She was like a walking work of art with great hair and a great look. I asked to take her photo and explained that I would like to paint her. She agreed and this is the work that I produced. I loved the colours and the liveliness of the painting. Olga's style varies from realism to abstraction. Her paint application is like handwriting, bold and confident. Each piece is a journey. She asks questions of herself and the viewer. The work delves into spaces that you forgot about, it clutches your heart just so that it can simply caress it and then carefully release it back to you. Olga is searching for a connection with her audience.
With degrees in Visual Art and Education, Olga continues to hone her skills with her prolific output. She is an active member of several art societies and exhibits widely.
