"FRED"

I am old and have many grand children. Each of these kids has a special place in my heart. Some are young and some are grown up, but they are all individuals and I love them all.

This painting is influenced by the youngest one and he is 10 years old. Harper is his name.
I have another painting named "Harper 5.0" have a look and you will see his photo.

I have always called him FRED and that is his nickname.
Now FRED is a very colourful character. I tried to capture his character in this painting.
The painting is colourful, bright, multi facets, and all over the shop. YEP that's Harper or should I say "FRED".

Stop press...... Today I took the third photo, which is FRED just before he jumped in my pool. He is a character.

I am now told I have to paint more and name them after some of my other grandkids. STAY TUNED.

This painting is 122 cm wide and 91 cm high and nearly 4 cm deep. It is finished with a high gloss varnish that will enhance the colour and protect the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
