Free Spirit

Some times I just get in the mood to try something a little different. This is one of my fluid style paintings that is very manipulated to get the end results. In this case I wanted bright colours that are flowing freely and escaping like a "Free Spirit"

It was created over several days, piece by piece. I love the way it finished up.

This painting is 61 cm wide and 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. The edges are fully painted so there should be no need for an external frame. It is finished with a gloss varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
