Go With The Flow

My darling wife always say's Oh Patrick just "Go With The Flow"
You see I have an individual character trait, and some things can bother me a BIT!!!!!

So with this painting I tried to FLOW. I love the flowing brush strokes and the contrasting colours with a little pink added just for my granddaughter.

For a simplistic painting it sure took me a long time to complete. Each colour had to be completely dry before applying the next coat and with all this rain of late it took a long time to dry.

I signed this painting on the side as not to distract from the simplistic style of the composition.

This painting is 122 cm wide x 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished with multiple coats of a subtle satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity,

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
