" MY BEST FRIENDS "

Every one of my paintings has a story attached.

The story to this painting is as follows.

The other day my wife Lu ( Lucia ) was hosting a 70th birthday party for one of her best friends.

I was out in the Studio / garage painting as the girls were arriving, each carrying presents and flowers.
So, I had an epiphany about the flowers and the apricot / blush colours, and put it to canvas. That's why I called it " My Best Friends ".

It turned out that good that when I put the painting up on some of the walls at home to take these photos the wife said WOW, leave it there. I said only until it sells. Honestly, I was brave.

The painting is 91 cm wide 122 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is finished in a subtle satin varnish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It also has felt cushions that protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
