Artwork Description

The influence for this Sculpture/painting is my life line on my left palm. Hence the name.

Truth is stranger than fiction, so here is the truth. One painting section I had paint on my hands, as usual, but this time my life line stood out with the paint and I thought what a great idea for a painting. And it really was !!!!!!.

It took me a while to get the colours right that matched different times in my life. The dark browns were dark rough times just off of my personal trail, but still attached to me. The cream was the creamy good times, marriage, childbirth, personal happiness. And the greys, are the grey struggle areas along your way that pop up and make life difficult, but now I have realized those times were character building and interesting. Wisdom I guess. I am older now.

I painted this one in 2007 when I had time to reflect on my life, which has been fantastic.
It is now time that someone else enjoys the painting as much as I have in the past.

The painting is 75 cm high 100 cm wide and 4 cm deep. It weighs 3.6 Kg
It is one of my plaster based acrylic painted pieces. It is blocked on the back under the stretcher bars to stabilize the plaster. There is no need for a frame as the edges are fully painted.

Also on the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.
