Paper Daisies

This painting is a mixture of flower garden colours. The greens of the foliage and the blues, reds and whites of the flowers themselves. When it is all bunched together it looks like a very full and abundant garden.
There again my lovely wife walked in while i was just finishing this works and said that it looked a bed of Paper Daisies. Who am i to argue with my beloved.

This painting is 91 cm wide and 91 cm high and 4 cm deep. It is varnished with a high gloss finish that enhances the colour and protects the paint.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
