Artwork Description

"Rainy Saturday Afternoon"
With all the rain of late, I was stuck indoors and decided to paint.
I wanted something that was brighter than the day outside and started to drag lines of paint across the canvas.
All was going well and the painting looked bright and airy, that was until a thunderstorm arrived in the afternoon. That first CLAP of thunder was right over head and it startled me. The next colour was Black and the DOT is the thunder.
When the storm passed the sky outside became lighter, and the last colour on the canvas was white.

This painting is 91 cm wide and 122 cm high it is nearly 4 cm deep. It is finished with a subtle satin varnish which enhances the colour and protects the paint.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.
