Artwork Description

This painting has an earthy feel to it. The brownish background with the black red and gold make it very interesting to me and there is just enough white and negative space to frame the composition.
The painting is on a 100 cm x 75 cm stretched canvas and the edges are painted and it has been gloss varnished to enhance the colour and to protect the paint.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and there are felt cushions on the back to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.
