Sunday Afternoon

Well, as the title says it was a Sunday Afternoon. It was a beautifully sunny afternoon, the wife was in the garden and i was in the garage playing with paint AGAIN.
I had something in mind and just kept adding to it . The wife said No! so i knew i was on the right track. God love her.
I wanted something really colourful and in a circular motion. It took me most of the afternoon and at least i was really happy with the result. God I love my wife.
The painting is as the photo shows very colourful. The painting is 122 cm x 91 cm on a stretched canvas and wired ready to hang. The painting is gloss varnished to enhance and protect the paint.
On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity with felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette.

His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character.

As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary , however he also uses various acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes.

Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him and his family. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques, which will continue to enhance his future works. His art works are all original.

Every one of Patrick's paintings has a special story attached to it, and they are all very personal to him. Patrick's art has been sold to collectors internationally and nationally.
