In this painting, I wanted to capture the peaceful anticipation of a marina awakening in the morning light. Rather than emphasizing every detail of the boats, I allowed light, water, and atmosphere to become the true subjects. Using expressive, rhythmic brushstrokes and subtle contrasts between cool and warm tones, I portrayed the shimmering reflections across the boats and the water. Through suggestion, simplification, and carefully balanced negative space, I sought to evoke the quiet elegance and poetic serenity of a new day by the harbor.
