Inspired by the Manangatang Silos in Rural Victoria. The railway reached this town in 1914 and the silos were constructed two years later. The town began to grow in 1919 as Soldier Settler blocks were offered to soldiers returning from WW1. The town name is an Aboriginal compound word meaning land and water.

Artist Bio
I am an Artist from regional Victoria that uses Acrylic on Canvas. I was born and raised in the Mallee and this has given me an obsession with capturing the colours and shadows of my surrounding landscape.
I have a fantastic style barn shed on a 40 acre property just out of Swan Hill, where I spend most of my days painting, gardening and making the occasional martini.
