Green Lake is one of four lakes dotted along the Western Highway of Horsham. The lake has a sandy beach several hundred meters long and is popular now with campers. The lake was dry for 15 years until 2018 when work was done to improve seepage issues that caused the lake to frequently dry out. This was a welcomed improvement to the lake as it is a valued community retreat and an important visitor destination.
