I'm an artist and author based in Gippsland, Victoria, originally from Melbourne. My work is all about capturing the charm and character of urban life – street scenes, old shopfronts, music venues, and historic buildings. I’m drawn to places that hold stories, especially those that are starting to disappear from the landscape. I also enjoy painting still life, abstracts, portraits, and country scenes. Over the past twenty years I’ve held solo exhibitions around Victoria and shown work interstate. I’ve completed a number of private commissions, and my work has been recognised in several national art prizes. I’m also passionate about music and have written a five-volume book series called “Blues Portrait – A Profile of the Australian Blues Scene” celebrating the Australian blues scene.
