Artwork Description

"A Good Day for the Roses" captures the ethereal beauty of a woman adorned in lace and clutching a bouquet of roses. Charcoal lends a sense of depth and texture whilst the monochromatic palette emphasizes the timeless elegance of the subject, highlighting the intricate lace patterns of the dress and the ethereal nature of the roses. Meanwhile the woman’s expression encourages us to delve beyond the surface and explore the emotions and stories beyond the composition.
The artwork is custom framed in a white timber frame.
"A Good Day for The Roses" was a finalist in the 2023 Brisbane Rotary Art Show
