Artwork Description

Moonstruck depicts a young woman rendered in graphite and charcoal, paused in quiet anticipation before stepping into the night. Light and shadow shape her features, emphasising introspection over narrative. The title suggests a state of influence—by mood, by nightfall, by something felt rather than seen.

This portrait was a finalist in the Bluethumb Art Prize 2022

This charcoal drawing is protected by cold wax varnish and mounted to a cradled board.
It is ready to hang.

Most notably, she has been a finalist with her portraits and figurative works in the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize 2022, Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award (2020-2023) with a Highly Commended award in 2021, Bluethumb Art Prize 2022, and Revival Art & Design Emerging Artist Prize 2023-2024.
