Artwork Description

Paper Crown is part of a series exploring costume as a threshold between reality and imagination, where play becomes a form of self expression. Using charcoal allows for both delicacy and weight, mirroring the tension between innocence and intention present in these moments. This artwork is drawn directly on wooden board with charcoal before being sealed with varnish. The artwork is well-presented in a black floating frame and is ready to hang.
