"Rainbow Beach" is a contrast of tonal ocean and sunrise colours of blues , pinks, golds and aquamarines . There is a whole multidimensional element to the painting with many transparent layers creating the illusion of moving water, even in low light the painting takes on a whole new look. Note that the first (vertical) photo and the last (horizontal) photo show the painting in slightly different light...

FIVE SIDES
We love that there are five sides to a stretched canvas, so we love having the painting extend to the sides. This gives you the option of just having the painting stretched, without framing. SIGNATURE
It is signed on the side edge with our "angelheart" symbol and pete+chrissy. And is also signed on the back. Signing in this way gives you the option of hanging the artwork horizontally or vertically in four different ways.

HANGING
This painting is rolled and should be stretched on a 40mm quality stretcher. It comes rolled in a tube but you have the option of ordering stretching via Bluethumb so that the piece is ready to hang when it arrives. And the 7 days still applies!
Reminder:Note that this image can be hung any direction you wish -- horizontal or vertical, or flipped (upside down to how displayed) ...just let the framer know your preferred orientation... plus you can always change it later just by moving the wire on the back!

DIMENSIONS
This original painting measures 180 x 80cm plus a 40mm edge when stretched. Effort has been made to size the image in the rooms proportionately to the furniture, however please measure your own furniture to make sure this image is right for your room!

Also our paintings can be difficult to photograph because they are so vibrant that the depths and breadths of the colours change depending on the amount of light. We are pete + chrissy, contemporary Australian artists creating original abstract works inspired by the movement, energy and natural rhythms of the coastline and earth.
Our work is known for its luminous quality — layers of colour, light and subtle texture interact to create pieces that shift and evolve throughout the day. Collectors often describe our paintings as opalescent and alive in different lighting.

Using our signature “scientartist” approach, we develop and refine our own paint combinations to create depth, cellular detail and organic flow that cannot be replicated. Each piece is the result of both experimentation and control — where art and process meet.
