This piece is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method! "When The River Runs" is a contrast of tonal Earth colours offset by inlays of Gold , Bronze and blues that catch the light and create a visual interest . There is a whole multidimensional element to the painting in that even in low light the painting takes on a whole new look . There is an energy that just cannot be depicted in an online photograph! This painting celebrates the desert coming to life as the top end summer rains fill the creeks and rivers with runoff from surrounding ranges.

This original painting measures 102 x 102 cm with a 40mm edge. Effort has been made to size the image in the rooms proportionately to the furniture, however please measure your own furniture to make sure this image is right for your room!

We try to match what we see on our monitor to the painting but all monitors are different so the colours tones and hues you see may not be true to the original. Also our paintings can be difficult to photograph because they are so vibrant that the depths and breadths of the colours change depending on the amount of light.
