We often have inspiration when creating these paintings but we are more thrilled when our clients see something that is meaningful to them... For us, we were inspired by the contrasting colours that flow so beautifully together.
This painting is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method!
" Coastal Edge" is a contrast of tonal metallic copper and various metallic rose gold and white gold colours creating an impressionistic aerial view of many an Australian coastline.
The metallic lines of gold, champagne gold and white gold glisten with the changing light.The pink and rose gold adds that soft element. With many of our artworks, the canvas and/or our techniques create different textures! All part of the discovery when viewing our paintings!
The energy of the artwork in person* is far more impactful than what you see on the screen. It's vibrancy and motion will easily lift a room (and your spirits!)!!!
