Australia's vast coastline has many desert and dune areas bordering the coast creating an array of tonal creams , reds and browns in contrast to the aquamarine blue of the ocean ,"Coastal Edge" is an impression from above of one of these landscapes .You can see in the closeup photos that this piece is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method!
"Coastal Edge" is a contrast of tonal Ocean colours of blues and aquamarines . There is a whole multidimensional element to the painting with many metallics ,gold copper and bronze creating the illusion of a moving landscape , even in low light the painting takes on a whole new look as the different inlays of the metalics catch the light.
It can be hung horizontally or vertically!!! (just need to move the hanging wire to suit)

DIMENSIONS
This original painting measures 180 x 100 cm with a 40mm edge. Effort has been made to size the image in the rooms proportionately to the furniture, however please measure your own furniture to make sure this image is right for your room!
