PETE + CHRISSY — ARTIST BIO

We are pete + chrissy, contemporary Australian artists creating original abstract works inspired by the movement, energy and natural rhythms of the coastline and earth.
Our work is known for its luminous quality — layers of colour, light and subtle texture interact to create pieces that shift and evolve throughout the day. Collectors often describe our paintings as opalescent and alive in different lighting.

Using our signature “scientartist” approach, we develop and refine our own paint combinations to create depth, cellular detail and organic flow that cannot be replicated. Each piece is the result of both experimentation and control — where art and process meet.
