This piece is also an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method! "Shoreline" is a contrast of tonal metalic blues and aquamarine colours creating an impressionistic view of crashing waves on an offshore Barrier Reef and deeper water beyond .The metalic blues and inlays of lines of gold and white gold glisten like light dancing on the water as it flows over the sandy beach. We show the painting in a brighter light however the colours deepen or brighten depending on the light.
As with many of our pieces, there is a subtle texture to the painting. Sometimes it is the texture of the canvas, but mainly it is the result of the techniques we use. This adds to the uniqueness of the painting.
NOTE: The energy of the artwork in person* is far more impactful than what you see on the screen. It's vibrancy and motion will easily lift a room (and your spirits!)!!! (*upon unpacking one of our paintings recently the client described the piece as magical and luminescent!)

DIMENSIONS
This original painting measures approximately *200 x 100 cm horizontally (and when stretched will have a 40mm edge). Effort has been made to size the image in the rooms proportionately to the furniture, however please measure your own furniture to make sure this image is right for your room!
FIVE SIDES
This piece is varnished with a slightly higher gloss than our usual satin. It is signed on the side with our "angel heart" symbol and pete+chrissy . We love that there are "5 sides" to a painting so the edges of "Shoreline" are a continuation of the painting! That is why we sign on the side and back as this allows you to hang the piece in any orientation you wish!. This gives you the option of hanging immediately once you receive the stretched piece from the framers, But know that these pieces also look great with a frame as well!
