We love how the copper foiling adds a whole other depth and personality to the artwork. Depending on the light or the angle, the painting changes moods.The first two photos demonstrate two of these lighting alternatives.

The painting looks great on both dark and light walls.

It's been years since I've ridden a horse, but both Chrissy and I love horses. How could we not?

When I decided to venture in to the abstract genre, I chose horses as my first subjects. I had a lot of fun paying with the copper as the lone colour used

We always have the sides be part of the completed piece and in this case, all four sides are painted so it looks fine without a frame .. this painting is sold stretched and ready to hang but if you want to have it framed, there are some options to add a float frame at check out.

We are pete + chrissy, contemporary Australian artists creating original abstract works inspired by the movement, energy and natural rhythms of the coastline and earth.
