Also our paintings can be difficult to photograph because they are so vibrant that the depths and breadths of the colours change depending on the amount of light. Last year we were watching the Amazing Race Australia - Celebrity Edition and we were inspired by the shots of Borneo - the lovely contrast of green trees fringing the golden shoreline and the amazing turquoise waters.

There is just something about the ocean and beaches isn't there?. They tend to calm us and excite us at the same time! We love conveying that feeling through this original painting:
This piece is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method! is a contrast of tonal metallic blue and metallic aquamarine and turquoise colours creating a cross between an impressionistic and an abstract realism view of a tree-line sandy shore of a tropical beach...
The metallic blues and inlays of lines of gold, rose gold and white gold glisten like light dancing on the water as it flows over the sandy beach. It has that magical feel of an opal - almost feels alive!!
