Like running for a bus that you miss, to turn that run into a casual jog…pretending that you didn’t even want it in the first place. Our heroine Grace strikes a pose and slips from her chair. A casual pose? A good recovery? Anything but a fall from grace!

Pete Conroy is an English artist based in Echuca. He focuses his attention on portraits and distortion of the human face and figure. Using traditional techniques mixed with a modern style he paints humans with impossibly stretched facial features and limbs.
Where the shape and structure of his subjects are out of sync with reality he attempts to bring the characters back into the realistic realm with a mix of modern and traditional techniques of oil painting.
