There are people on each side of politics that let their own team down by their behaviour. They believe is somebody thinks differently to them they have the moral superiority to attack them viciously. This not only makes the political space horrible for people with good will to operate in but it’s also counter productive and often turns people off the cause or issue the attacker is supposedly championing.
We should call out this bad behaviour when the other team do it but most of all we should call it out when our team does it. There’s plenty of room for robust honest debate, but purposely setting out to harm someone or ruin their life is NOT the way to go.
It’s making life worse for us all.

Artist Bio
Pete Conroy is an English artist based in Echuca. He focuses his attention on portraits and distortion of the human face and figure. Using traditional techniques mixed with a modern style he paints humans with impossibly stretched facial features and limbs.
Where the shape and structure of his subjects are out of sync with reality he attempts to bring the characters back into the realistic realm with a mix of modern and traditional techniques of oil painting.
