Black Swan

I painted the graceful black swan after seeing it in my local park. I first painted using my ipad pencil on my ipad . I was happy with the result and then moved to my canvas. I wanted to show the water movement and the contrast with the water and the black swan. It is a cooling and calm painting and would suit a small wall.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive.
