Artwork Description

This is one painting of a series on cricket in a park in summer that I have created. I was riding my bike one summer day and caught this scene. This time spectators had set up a tent and I liked the contrast of the white with the green. It is a calm and peaceful painting.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive.
