This composition is based on a Saturday game of cricket at a local park. I ride pass this scene on summer Saturdays. I tried to create the calm and relaxed atmosphere of local spectators watching the game. I liked the white uniforms and the contrast with the green grass. This painting is the final one in a series I have painted on this theme. It has been framed beautifully by Mt Lawley Framers.
