Federation Street

I painted these houses that are abundant in my old neighbourhood but dwindling in number slowly. These Federation houses were built in the early 1900s . They are full of character and have aged well as they are all over 100 years old. I painted them in a naive style and wanted to show them off in their colourful best.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
