This painting is part of a series on my impression of the Frangipani tree, flowers and leaves. I tried to capture the patterns in the leaves and the contrast of dark green and white under a blue sky.
I painted in a simple way and I think this is a cooling , fresh and cheerful painting. On my balcony Frangipani tree I saw these fresh new flowers blooming and tried to capture that the best I could.
