Fremantle Harbour 2

This painting is my impression of Fremantle Harbour. I wanted to show the activity and colour of the harbour. I painted the cranes, containers and ships loading and unloading. I have always been fascinated by the life of the harbour where my father used to work. I visited the harbour on my bike and used webcams to help me compose the painting.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
