Artwork Description

This painting depicts a range of Federation era houses around my neighbourhood of North Perth.
I chose a variety of house styles and colours and painted them ina naive style. It is a bright and happy painting celebrating the Federation style.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive.
