In The Park #1

I live near a park in Perth called Hyde Park. It is a green space which draws the community to go for a walk and relax. In spring I was moved by the greens of the park and the tranquil scene of people doing their thing and relaxing. I wanted to capture that feeling in my naive style. I created a bright, fresh and relaxing painting showing my community in the park.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
