Painted this still life in a simple way capturing the opening lilies in a Chinese blue and white vase.
It is a fresh and colourful still life that would brighten a room with fresh white and pink to contrast on a plain blue background.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive.
