My Hood

This painting is my impression of my neighbourhood. It isn't a map but an impression of the atmosphere of my neighbourhood, the buildings, shops, schools and cafes. It is a busy and bright painting.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
